Man Seriously Injured After Crash In Parking Lot At School In Bay Shore

A Long Island man is recovering after crashing his motorcycle at an elementary school, police said.

The incident happened in Bay Shore at around 2:45 p.m.  Sunday, April 24.

Victor Nigro, age 65, of Bay Shore, was riding the motorcycle in the parking lot of Gardiner Manor Elementary School on Wohseepee Drivewhen he lost control and crashed, Suffolk County Police said.

Nigro was taken to South Shore University Hospital and treated for serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Suffolk County police are asking anyone with information on the crash to call the SCPD Third Squad at 631-854-8352.
